Our violin and viola lessons start as young as age 5. Most younger children will start with a smaller sized violin.
Our violin instructors are highly qualified and focus on presenting repertoire and technique with fun and innovative methods. Students learn proper technique, theory, ear training, sight-reading, and classical repertoire, in addition to selecting music of their choice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT VIOLIN LESSONS:
What is the best age to start violin lessons?
Adults can start violin lessons at any time. For children, we recommend that students be 5 years old or older. Some music schools will start children as young as 3, but our experience has shown that students learn more and have a much better experience if they wait until they are 5 or older.
Are your violin instructors qualified?
Our instructors are highly qualified, holding either a degree in music or very extensive performance and playing ability. For our degreed teachers, they have received their education from prestigious institutions such as the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, The Berklee College of Music, Oberlin College and Conservatory, The Ohio State University, Capital University, and many others. For our instructors with extensive or exceptional performing ability, they are thoroughly vetted by our school owner, Chad Ebert.
In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lessons.
Do you give student recitals?
Yes, we offer two recitals per year, complete with professionally printed programs and red-carpet recital photos printed for you at no cost. We also have optional traveling performances to some of the top music venues in the United States.
WHAT IF WE NEED TO MISS OR RESCHEDULE A LESSONS?
No problem at all. We offer unlimited makeup lessons with 24 hours’ notice — just give us notice and we'll find another time that works. We understand that life happens and we never penalize families for it.
IS THERE A LONG-TERM CONTRACT OR COMMITMENT?
No long-term contracts, ever. We operate on a month-to-month basis and only require 30 days notice to pause or stop lessons.
HOW MUCH DO VIOLIN LESSONS COST?
